Want to make using an iPad even easier? Here are 3 quick tips for power users:
4 Finger Swipe Multitasking
You may already know that you can double-click the home button on an iPad or iPad mini and directly access recently running apps. But did you know there is also a swipe gesture to do the same? Just place 4 fingers on the iPad screen and swipe upwards. You’ll see the row of your recently used apps below, called the Multitasking Bar, and you can just click on one to go to that program.
Three Finger Zoom
You can of course zoom in on pictures by pinching, but there is a handy way to zoom in on any screen, anywhere, and in any app. Just go into your settings:
Settings / General / Accessibility / Zoom
Then toggle Zoom to “on”. You can now double tap any screen with 3 fingers to zoom in and out. You can also drag three fingers to move around.
If you have Multitasking Gestures turned on, you can multitask with 4 or 5 fingers. Go into settings:
Settings / General / Multitasking Gestures
Make sure Multitasking Gestures is toggled to “on”. Now you can use four or five fingers to pinch to the home screen from inside any app, swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar and swipe left or right to slide between apps.
